Circa 1900's Citrine Pendant

Simple and elegant. This 16" necklace is done in sterling silver and comes from my husband's great grandmother's estate. The necklace was a gift and dates to the late 1800's/early 1900's. The necklace holds an oval yellow citrine stone measuring 12mm by 9mm by 6mm in a 4 pronged sterling silver setting. There is a plain border standing off from the stone. Total weight is 2.56 grams. The pendant setting and chain have been appraised by a jeweler and tested as sterling, but not marked as such. There appears to be a hallmark on the setting, but I cannot read it. Very good condition!
