Green Sequin/Lace Dress

If you're looking for holiday sparkle at a bargin price, look no further! This pretty holiday green dress is both figure flattering and classy. The dress has a rounded neckline with a brown/rusty colored stretch lace bodice. The lace is semi-sheer. A wonderful green sequined overlay begins at the shoulder seams and continues down the center front to below the natural waistline. The sequin overlay also forms cap sleeves over the long lace sleeves. The back of the dress has four pearlized bronze colored buttons which begin at the neckline and continue midway down the back. The dress is lined in green under the lower portion of lace; however the "V" shaped lace at the center front neckline is not lined. The skirt is wonderful! It is sheer chiffon over the green lining. The skirt gathers at the center front with a sequined vertical piece of material and continues around the back with a horizontal panel. The skirt if full and has a nice dip to the back length of the skirt. The dress is displayed on a dress form which measures: bustline=37"; waistline=29"; hips=38"; length (shoulder to front hemline)=40"; length (shoulder to back hemline)=57". The inside label reads, "Weekend, New York, Paris". The size is marked "18" and it is made of "100% Nylon and 100% Polyester". The condition is good; however a very small piece of inner trim needs a few stitches to hold it in place (along the back opening) and there is a small tear in the lining, right beside the seam, which needs stitching (minor repair). A few areas on the rust lace have orangy spots. I'm not sure what this is from or if it would come out. It is not really noticeable when worn, but they are there. This is a wonderful holiday dress at a pocket pleasing price!

1960's Tan/Cream Tweed Suit

This 1960's suit is a classic! The tan and cream tweed suit has a double breasted jacket with four large buttons. Two faux pocket flaps accent the lower front portion of the jacket. The collar is a wide lapel collar and the sleeves are long and fairly fitted. The back of the jacket has two vents - one to each side of the center seam. The jacket is fully lined in pinky/peach colored crepe. The skirt is straight, with a side metal zipper and button waistline. The skirt is partially lined in the back. The suit is in very good condition, but has a small hole in the jacket just below one of the pockets. It looks like the weave was broken - I believe it could be repaired and is not really noticeable, but it is there. There are no labels or size information, but suit measures approximately: bustline=36"; skirt waistline=25"; skirt length=26".

Pale Pink Beaded Dress

This dress has me puzzled! It it a lovely silk creation done in a very pale pink. It has lovely faux pearl and iridescent beading and iridescent sequins on the bodice. Now for the puzzling part - the sequins are done in a leaf design and in between the leaves are pink roses. The roses are a pinker color than the dress and I don't think they are original, but then again, it would be a lot of work to add them! You be the judge. The neckline of the dress is rounded and outlined with beads. The sleeves are done in two layers, both sheer. The bottom edges of the sleeves are decorated with dangling faux pearls. The dress has a dropped asymetrical waistline with a multi- layered asymetrical skirt. The skirt layers differ in lengths. The entire dress is lined in silk and drapes beautifully. The dress has a center back zipper and neck label reads, "JK Laing, New York" "100% Silk, Hand Beaded, Made in China" "Lining: 100% Silk". The dress is marked a small, but is displayed on a dress form measuring: bustline=36"; waistline=28" length (shoulders to hemline)=55". The dress is in very good condition and I believe the roses could be removed and replaced with appliques.
