Wonderful find for a small child from the early Edwardian period. This
vintage pattern fits a 22 inch bustline and age 3. This is printed
along the
top of
pattern envelope. All pieces are there and the design comes in two
lengths.
The longer version is in the design of the "Kimono" and the shorter
version
is the same design. Lovely long sleeves and a simple straight cut. The
pattern is published by Butterick. Wonderful find for the antique doll
collector that is looking for the original patterns from the edwardian
period of time. This pattern would date between 1900 to 1910. Great
condition and envelop in tact. Very rare to find in todays time.

1900's Vintage Silk Sewing
Bag
This little silk vintage bag was probably used for sewing articles.
It is
very lightweight and is formed into a pouch design. The fabric is
silk and has a watercolored effect in the silks pattern, like the way
gasoline looks upon the surface of water. It is in reds and oranges
and yellows
with a little bit of blue and is very mutted in the pattern. A
lovely red and yellow woven ribbon adorns both sides of the bag and
gives a finished look to it. There is a 1 inch piece of brite red
ribbon that is attached to the side of the bag and was in the shape
of a flower, this has come out slightly and the ribbon does need to
be tacked back to the corner of the bag. The inside is lined with a
light colored silk fabric. This is very pretty and could be used to
hold needles or that special little item and layed on top of a
dresser for show.
