GENERAL INFORMATION

We try to give our customers the most accurate information we have
on dating and condition of items. We believe this information to be
reliable and it is given in good faith; however it is not a
guarantee.
Condition of each item is explained in the description. Please
remember, especially on early vintage clothing, that these items are
usually 100 years old and it is expected that they show some signs of
age. Please feel free to contact me for more detailed information on
any item.

ORDER RECEIVED
- When your request is received, I will e-mail you with the status
of the item (all items subject to prior sale) and the amount due
(prices do not include shipping/insurance). We do not charge a
handling fee! Our shipping fees are based on estimated actual
shipping and insurance costs. The item will be marked
RESERVED and will be held for 10 days. If the amount due is
not received within the time frame, the item will be returned to "For
Sale" status.
SHIPMENT OF ITEM
- The item will be shipped within two (2) days if paid with bank
check, money order or credit card. If it is paid by personal check,
the item(s) will be held until the check has cleared (approximately
10 days). All checks and money orders must be in U.S. currency.
All orders will be shipped U.S. Postal Priority Mail, insured for
the purchase price.
LAY-AWAY POLICY
- We offer a Lay-Away plan for items in excess of $75.00. A 25%
deposit is required within 10 days for order date. The remaining
balance is due within 60 days of order. A maximum of three items may
be placed on Lay-Away at any one time. If the Lay-Away transaction
is not completed, all monies, EXCEPT for the initial 25% deposit will

RETURN POLICY
- All items are described as accurately as possible; however the
purchaser has two (2) days after receipt of the item to contact A
Victorian Elegance (e-mail or telephone call) if not satisfied with
the item for any reason. Full refunds (less shipping) are made for
all returns as long as item is returned in same condition as sent.
