Taupe Beaded Chiffon Dress

This dress is of a newer vintage and would be the perfect dancing dress! The dress has a rounded neckline and the entire bodice is decorated with clear beading done in a swirled design. The sleeves are long and straight and also decorated with beading. They have a snap and hook/eye closure at the wrist. The bodice is fitted at the waistline, where a horizontal band of beads creates the waistband. The skirt has a fairly straight underskirt, with a double chiffon overskirt. The overskirt is wide and flowing. There is no label in the dress, but the attention to detail tells me it is very well made. It has a center back metal zipper which runs to the waistline and material covered snaps which hold the chiffon skirt in place. The zipper is hand stitched in place. It is sturdy, but I don't know if this was original or replaced. The beading is in very good condition, with very few, if any missing. The dress is in very good condition, but has not been cleaned. I do not see any stains, tears or holes, but there is some minor staining to the underlining of the skirt. This is not seen through the chiffon overskirt. The dress measures: bustline=36"; waistline=26", length (waistline to hemline)=29 1/2".

Mint Green Dress

This gown is sure to get you noticed! The mint green dress has a sweetheart neckline and short sleeves. Three small faux pearl buttons accent each sleeve. The bodice is fitted with a "V" waistline in the front. A beaded applique decorates the center front of the bodice. The skirt is slightly gathered and above the knee in length (in the front). The skirt portion of the dress gradually lengthens until it is almost floor length in the back. The dress has a center back zipper and the skirt is fully lined in the same material as the dress. Two large rosettes decorate the center back waistline. There are no labels, but the measurements are as follows: bustline=36"; waistline=28"; length (shoulder to front hemline)=36"; length (shoulder to back hemline)=51". The dress is in good condition, but does need cleaning.

Red Fringed Jumpsuit

Shimmy and shake the night away in this outrageous "bee sting" red, fringed jumpsuit! This little number will take you back to the "roaring 20's" when the "shimmy shake" was teh dance of teh day and "bee sting" red was the color for the lips. A mondern day version of a flapper, you simply can't go unnoticed on teh dance floor. The jumpsuit has a rounded neckline and long sleeves. Rows and rows of long red fringe cover the bodice and sleeves. The waistline is defined by a rather wide fabric covered belt and the back dips to a slight point. All in all, this is a "WOW" outfit! The neck label reads, "Joy Stevens, California". The jumpsuit is 100% Polyester and is a size 12. The jumpsuit is a truer red than the photos display. It is in very good condition and ready to go!

Red/White Beaded Gown

This gown is of newer vintage (1970-1980's); however it will still turn all eyes in your direction! The gown is red and decorated throughout with beading and sequins. The dress has a "V" neckline and padded shoulders. A wonderful abstract design covers the shoulders and cascades over the bodice. It is created from white and silver rhinestones, with red, white gold and clear round and bugle beads. The remainder of the gown is accented with red tubular beads strung in a squiggly fashion throughout the gown. The sleeves are long and fitted. The gown is cut very straight with slits on each side. It has a red lining and back zipper. The neck label reads, "Veelam" and it is a size small. The gown is very clinging and does have a little stretch to it. It is in very good condition; however some of the beads and sequins could use retacking. There is minimal bead loss. The gown has not been cleaned and the lining definitely needs pressing. Measurements: bustline=32"-33"; waistline=26"; hips=32"-33"; length (shoulders to hemline)=54".

1930's Gown With Bias Cut Slip

This 1930's floor length gown is done in a sheer black net. It is sleeveless and has a "V" neckline. The bodice has the typical inverted "V" which goes from the waistline to the neckline. The back of the bodice has a large keyhole cutout at the neckline. The gown has a 2 snap side closure. The skirt has a nice flare and is accented at knee length with a 4 1/2" wide band of black lace. Another 12" band of matching lace finishes the hemline. The dress has a matching bias cut underslip. The black slip has thin straps and a waistline. Black netting is attached to the hemline. This looks like it has been cut and could easily been trimmed away as it does not show beneith the dress. The gown measures: bustline=36"- 37"; waistline=34". The dress comes with the original belt. Dress is shown with rhinestone necklace - Item Number HM179.

Gunne Sax
Black Velvet & Green Satin
Size 9

What a striking dress! This strapless dress begins with a black velvet bodice. The bodice is boned and very fitted. The skirt is done in a rich green color - a beautiful contrast to the black velvet bodice. A large bow accents the center front of the dress at the waistline. The bow is decorated with clear rhinestone trim (the rhinestone trim needs a bit of tacking). The skirt is layered with the top layer gradually opening to show the bottom layer. Both are done in the same rich green. The dress also has an attached crinoline to give the skirt a bit of body. An additional crinoline could be worn for added fullness. The dress has a center back zipper. The gown has never been worn and the label reads, "Gunne Sax" "Size 9". Please use the following measurements, rather than size as Gunne Saxs usually run a bit small. The dress measures: bustline=34"; waistline=26"; skirt length (waistline to hemline)=27 1/2". The dress is in very good condition and just needs a bit of steaming.

Gunne Sax
Pink/White Lace Dress

This dress is so sweet - yet just a touch daring! The dress is made by Gunne Sax and is done in a pink with a white lace overlay. The dress has a bit of a 1940's look to it. It has padded shoulders and a sweetheart neckline. The bodice is fitted with a drop waistline. The back of the dress is so dramatic. It buttons at the neckline, then is open to the waistline. The sleeves are long and fitted with a 3 button closure. A large pink bow accents the center back waistline of the dress. The bow may be removed as it is currently only pinned in place. The dress is tea length and measures approximately: bustline=35"; waistline=26"; shoulder to shoulder width=14 1/2" and length (shoulder to hemline)=49". The dress is in very good condition but does have a few breaks in the lace. These are not serious and not at all detracting. The dress is very versitile and could be worn by a bride, bridesmaid or to any formal occasion.

Circa 1930's Bias Cut Vintage Gown

This bias cut vintage gown is so sweet! It would also be a perfect bridesmaid's gown! The gown is done in a pink moire type fabric with a watermark design. The gown has a square neckline trimmed with tiny maroon velvet bows (1 is missing, but it would be very easy to just replace them all). The bodice is gathered at the neckline and along the top portion of the diamond shaped insert which begins right below the bustline and continues through the waistline. Short, puffy sleeves which are lined with netting complete the bodice. There is a material tie bow in the back which is decoration only. The bow does need a little work and a good stiffening. The skirt has that beautiful 1930's bias cut flare! The gown has a side zipper. This vintage gown is in very good condition; however it does have a small area along the hemline which is discolored. This could probably be hemmed away. The dress measures as follows: bustline=34"; waistline=26"; skirt length=approximately 45 1/2".
