Black Velvet Gown/Gold

This newer gown has such an elegant look! It is a combination of
black velvet and gold material.
The gown is very simple, except for the wide gold "cape-style"
collar. This off-the-shoulder "cape-style"
collar is part of the gown and encircles the entire bustline. A
vertical rhinestone bar accents the center
front of the gold collar. The remainder of the gown is black
velvet. The gown is very fitted with a center
back zipper. Black velvet shoulder straps hold the gown in place. A
high slit is located at the front side of the skirt.
The gown has a label which reads, "My Fashion U.S.A" and another
label reads, "Size 6". The gown measures
approximately: bustline=33"; waistline=23" and length (shoulder to
hemline)=50 1/2". The gown is in very good
condition and I do not believe it was ever worn.

Sequined Strapless Gown
Size 5/6
This gown is sure to make a hit at any party! The strapless bodice
is completely covered in black sequins with a magenta colored
sequined heart on the front! The heart actually begins to take shape
at the bustline and continues to almost the waistline. The black
taffeta skirt is long and straight. Thisgown has a definite 1940's
look with a huge black taffeta peplum surrounding the waist. The
peplum drops dramatically in the back, forming a tail-like effect.
The peplum is lined in magenta taffeta. The back of the gown has a
slit at the center back. This gown is very unique and extremely well
designed - a real head turner! The gown has a label which reads, "J
Reynolds Designs, Atlanta". It is marked a size 5/6 and measures
approximately: bustline=32"; waistline=24" and length (shoulder to
hemline)=56". The gown is Dry Clean Only.

Gold Print
Jacket
This jacket can go casual or semi-formal - it all depends on what
you wear it with. The jacket is done in a goldtone print.
Unfortunately, my photographs do not capture the goldtone color and
sheen. The material looks similar to a leopard print. The jacket is
fully lined and has a
center front button closure. The shoulders are padded and the
sleeves are long and straight. Two side pockets complete the jacket -
one on each side of the center front closure. The jacket has a label
which reads, "Veleno - Sportswear - New York." The jacket is in very
good condition. It is a newer vintage piece, but has a great look!
The jacket is marked a size Small and measures: bustline=36 and
waistline=29".

LARGER SIZE!!!
Circa 1900's Black Lace/Beaded Gown
This lovely black Edwardian gown is a beautiful combination of black
lace and black beading. gown has a small front "V" neckline
which is edged with a very narrow light blue velvet. An attached
black lace "shawl" creates a deeper "V" panel which is decorated with
black beading. "shawl" begins at waistline (front and back)
and encircles shoulders. "shawl is beautifully accented with
black beaded fringe. fringe is attached to one side of Shawl
and follows scalloped edging of lace. This creates a very
dramatic look. gown is completely lined, however there are a few
areas where underlining is split - remainder is fine. There
are four (4) bones in bodice - one on each side and two in
front. gown has 3/4 length sleeves which are gathered into a
satin beaded banding. gown has an attached wide black satin belt
and a center back hook/eye closure. skirt features an
asymmetrical lace hemline and is decorated on one side (more towards
back side) with a beaded decorative tassel. gown is in very
good condition and lace is beautiful - I believe it is Chantilly
lace. lace has a few breaks and as previously mentioned, there
are a few areas of splitting in underlining, but other than that,
gown is sturdy. gown may have been altered a bit, but if so,
it was done very well. gown is also in a larger size and with a
bit of reinforcement, could be worn. Unfortunately, my photos do not
capture true beauty of lace and beading. gown measures
approximately: bustline=38"; shoulder to shoulder width=14 1/2";
waistline=29" and length (shoulder to hemline)=57".

Gold Floral Brocade
Gown
This beautiful gold floral brocade gown is so typical of the 1960's.
The gown is sleeveless with a rounded neckline. It features an
princess waistline and is fitted through the bodice. Two small bows
accent the high waistline and the skirt fall in a generous a-line.
The gown has a back zipper closure and is in very good condition.
There are no labels, except for a Union made label. The gown is well
made and fully lined. This gown would work for a formal occassion as
well as for a bride's maid gown for a 60's style wedding. There is
no size label, but the gown measures: bustline=36"; waistline=28";
length (shoulder to hemline)=52". The gown is in very good condition
and ready to go!

1940's Style Strapless
Gown
This cream colored strapless gown has the look of a 1940's style
gown. The strapless top features diagonal pleats of cloth across the
bodice. The bodice is fitted as is the waistline. A narrow piping
encircles the waistline and a wonderful long peplum begins at the
waistline and falls to a point at the center back - almost full
length. The peplum cascades open in the front, gradually lengthening
as it approaches the side seams. The skirt is straight and has a
kick pleat at the center back. The material is soft and has a color
on color floral print. The gown has a center back zipper and is a
size 7/8. The label reads, "Lola Berent for Superstition, Made in
U.S.A.". This gown is new/old stock. It has never been worn and was
purchased from a bridal warehouse that went out of business several
years ago. The gown measures: bustline=32"; waistline=25"; hips=36"
and length (shoulder to hemline)=60". The gown is in very good
condition.

Gunne Sax Pink
Gown
This romantic Gunne Sax gown is a very pale pink. It has a square
front neckline and deep "V" back neckline. A large ruffle encircles
the bodice and continues over the shoulders through the "V" back.
The gown is sleeveless, however the elastic shoulders allow it to be
worn "off the shoulder." The bodice is fitted and drops to a "V" at
the center front waistline. A huge bow begins at the back waistline
and continues approximately half way down the skirt. This bow is
wide and makes a lovely backdrop for the gown. The skirt is slightly
gathered into the waistline creating an a-line skirt. The material
is a color on color print. The gown has an attached crinoline and
side zipper. The gown is in good condition, but does need some seam
reinforcement and there is a small spot on the collar. It measures
approximately: bustline=34"; waistline=27" and length (shoulder to
hemline)=54".

Hand Screened
Jamacan Gown W/Hat
You're sure to make a statement in this beautiful hand screened
Jamacan gown and turbin style hat. The gown is a festive array of
tropical colors - pinks, green, lavendars and golds. Metalic colored
threads add a bit of sparkle to the gown. The neckline has a mandrin
collar which dips to a deep "V" in the front. A decorative material
"frog" holds the "V" in place. The gown is sleeveless and is
slightly fitted, but does not have an actual waistline. A back
zipper closes the gown and a back slit gives added walking room. A
material "frog" also decorates the top of the slit (see Detail Views. The gown comes with a
matching turbin style hat which is slightly gathered in the back and
accented with a small bow. The gown has a label which reads, "Beach
Comber - Jamaca, W.I., Hand Screened, Hand Wash Only - Do Not Dry
Clean" "Size 18". The gown is displayed on a size 18 dress form and
measures: bustline=42"; waistline=39"; hips=45" and length=55" The
gown and hat are in very good condition and very wearable.
