This light weight wool tweed suit has a belted jacket and matching
slacks. The suit is a tan color with green and burgandy tweed. The
jacket has a notched collar and two button center front closure. The
jacket is unlined. A material belt encirlce the waistline and has a
button closure. The jacket has a breast pocket and two patch
pockets. The back of the jacket features a very long vent. The
jacket needs cleaning as it is soiled at the front closure and belt.
The matching pants have a center front button closure. The pants
have two side pockets and a watch pocket just under the waistband.
The pants are not lined and they also need cleaning. The jacket
measures approximately 36" to 38" around the check and a 32" sleeve
length (looks like the sleeves have been hemmed). The slacks measure
a 32" waistline and 32" length. As previously mentioned, the suit
does need cleaning, but is in very sturdy condition and wearable.

C. 1970's Johnny Carson
Suit
This suit dates to the 1970's. Unfortunately, my photos do not
capture the color
as well as I'd like it to. The suit is a rasberry color. The
jacket has a two (2) button
center front closure, a breast pocket and two front patch pockets.
Each of the patch pockets is accented
with a white vertical stripe. The entire suit is accented with
white top stitching. The jacket
is 3/4 lined with a white and rasberry plaid lining. There are two
(2) inside pockets. A singe vent in the
back completes the jacket. The matching slacks have a two (2)
button waistband and western style pockets.
A decorative side tab accents the waistband on each side (see Detail Views). The
slacks have a slightly flaired leg. The inside label of the suit
reads, "Johnny Carson Tailored for Kleinhans" The jacket is
a 44R and the slacks measure 34" waistline by 31" inseam (3" hem).
The suit is in very good condition. I did notice a light
spot, but I'm sure it would come out with cleaning.

C. 1940's Double Brested
Tux
This beautiful double breasted tux is a very dark blue (we actually
thought it was black until we saw the photos). It has a very faint
pinstripe and I believe it is wool. The jacket has a wide notched
collar with faille trim. It is fully lined and the inside label
reads, "Newman's, Richmond, VA. Individually Styled By Eagle Clothes,
Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." There is also a Union label in the inside
pocket which reads, "Union Made Suit, Made in SC USA, Hand Tailored,
New York". The pants have side pockets and vertical faille trim
(matches jacket) along the outer leg seam. A watch pocket is located
just below the waistband and the pants have four pleats in the front -
two on each side. The waistband also has suspender buttons. The
jacket is a 40R and the pants measure approximately 33" waistline and
31" inseam (with a 3" hem). The waistband may be let out just a bit.
The tux is in very good condition and very well made.

Vintage Black 3-Piece
Tux
This early vintage three (3) piece tux is sturdy, wearable and very
chic! The jacket has a center front one (1) button closure. The
collar has a nice sheen which offers a nice contrast to the jacket
material. A breast pocket and two (2) front pockets accent the
jacket. The jacket has a 3/4 lining and there is some underarm
damage to the lining (wearable "as is" or could be replaced). The
neck label reads, "Clothcraft, DeLuxe, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." The
jacket is a 38R. The matching vest has a three (3) button front
closure. The vest neckline falls to a very low "U", rimmed by a fold
over collar. The vest has four (4) pockets and an adjustable strap
in the back. The vest is in very good condition, but does need a bit
of restitching at the back seam. It looks like the vest has been
hemmed. The slacks have a center front button closure and inside
suspender buttons. A watch pocket is sits just below the waistband.
The pants have a vertical stripe along the outside seam. The
waistline measures approximately 34" (may have been let out) and the
length measures approximately 30" inseam (approximately a 1" hem).

Vintage Men's Collars/Original
Box
Six vintage (6) Van Heusen collars - "The World's Smartest Collar" -
come in
their original box. When the box was new, it held a dozen collars;
however there are only six (6) left. The box has seen better days
and the lid is missing. A paper advertisement comes with the box.
It it cute - showing various shaped faces with little sayings
pertaining the the collars. The collars are all a size 16 3/4 and
have the following print on each collar, "Van Heusen, Patent
2,398,829 (??), Phillips-Jones, Van Byrd, No Starch, Iron Flat While
Damp." The collars would make a nice display piece and would go
great with ALC107, Men's Collar Box.

1950's White Dinner
Jacket
A white dinner jacket is a great addition to any man's wardrobe.
This one dates to the 1950's and originally came from a West Kentucky
coal mining "company" store. It has a three button front closure.
The jacket has three front pockets and is fully lined (one additional
inside pocket). The lining does have some minor staining. The
inside label reads, "Mayfield Clothes, Taylored for West Kentucky
Coal Company, Earlington, KY". There is also a union label inside
the pocket. The jacket is in very good condition, except for the
staining on the lining - does not detract from wearability at all.
Jacket is a size 40-42L.
