Vintage 1920's Large Cotton Nightgown

What a great gown to lounge or sleep in! This 1920's vintage white cotton gown is very large and roomy. It is white cotton with a wide rounded neckline. The neckline is edged with a dainty scalloped trim. The front is further accented with an openwork lace insert. Seven vertical decorative stitched lines complete the front decoration. The gown is sleeveless and the armhole is wide and banded. The gown is cut straight to the hemline and has a wide hem. It is in very good condition and very wearable. It has been washed and there are no stains, holes or tears. A stitch or two is needed in one spot along the neckline trim, but other than that, I don't see any problems. The nightgown measures up to: bustline=50"; waistline=50"; length (shoulder seam to hemline)=50".

Ladies' Vintage Long Underwear

The perfect vintage garment for a cold wintery day! These early cream colored "long-john" tops are sure to keep you snuggly warm! There are two tops which are the same. They will be sold seperately. The tops have a rounded neckline and center front closure. The front placket of the closure has five (5) material covered buttons (nicely done). The material on the buttons match the material on the front placket (looks like cream silk). The tops have long sleeves and the bust area has been enlarged with sewn in seams. There are no labels and the material does have some stretch to it. As you can see from my photo, the top was meant for someone a little more busty than my dress form - will easily fit a 38" bustline. The top will fit up to a 30" waistline and 38" hips. Both tops are in very good conditon

Black Vintage Undergarment

This little vintage undergarment would probably be called a "teddy" today. The garment is made of a black satin type material and zips down the front (metal zipper), from top to bottom. Thin shoulder straps adorn the top and approximately 6" of pleats adorn the bottom. Overall top to bottom measurement is approximately 24 1/2". Bust measures a little over 30".

Red Paisley Vintage Robe

This vintage robe is perfect for lounging around the house. The robe really makes a statement with the bright paisley print material. The dominant color is red combined with greens, blues and golds. The robe has a center front button closure. The buttons are covered with matching material. One button needs recovering as it has wear. The sleeves are short and cuffed. The robe has two large patch pockets in the front. The robe does have some wear, but the material is sturdy and the colors are still vibrant. The robe measures approximately: bustline=42"; waistline=32" and length (shoulder to hemline)=39". The robe is shown on a size 18 dress form.

Vintage 1920 Slip/Pannier

Cute little vintage full slip with a built-in pannier. This was popular during the 1920's. The slip is simple in design, yet a great addition to a vintage clothing collection. The slip has a rounded front and back neckline and is sleeveless. The neckline and armholes are edged with a very narrow lace trim. The slip has a drop waistline and on each side of the skirt there is a built-in pannier. This is created by a stiff, rounded insert which is encased on each side of the skirt. There is a tie strip on each end of the pannier which is used to adjust the poof of the pannier. The hemline of the slip is edged with a 1" scalloped edge lace. The slip is in good condition, but there are a few small holes and tears in the slip and part of the lace at the hemline needs mending. Measurements: bustline=34"; waistline=34"; hips=34". The material is still sturdy, so this could be worn.

1930's/1940's Black Lace Vintage Nightgown

This wonderful black vintage nightgown has all the glamour of the 1930's and 40's! It is not bias cut, but has the same look as a bias cut gown. The nightgown has wide shoulder straps which attach to a black lace front bodice. The shoulder straps cross in the back for a secure fit. The black lace front has a cream net underlining. The neckline is cut in a "V" and black lace ruffles accent the bodice. The nightgown is fitted throughout the waistline and hips. It falls to the floor and where the bottom portion of the skirt flares into a wide gathered ruffle. A small black bow accents a slit in the ruffle which is located in the front. The gown has a label which reads, "Colleen Lingerie, Inc." I believe there was once a size label, but it is no longer attached. I belive the gown to be a size 38. The gown is displayed on a dress form which measures: bustline=37"; waistline=29"; hips=39". The gown is in very good condition, but does need cleaning and there are a few small pin holes in the bottom ruffle - not detracting from the nightgown.
