Vintage "Modern Miss"
Hat
If you're looking for something a bit out of the ordinary, take a
close look at this hat! The hat is done in black velvet. It is
circular in shape with the center top open. The hat has a velvet
band which clings to the back of the head - helping to hold the hat
in place. The unusual aspect of this hat is the decorative goldtone
sequins - some are round and others are star shaped. The entire top
portion of the hat decorated with sequins! The hat has a black
grosgrain banding on the inside of the hat and a label which reads,
"Modern Miss." The hat is in very good condition; however a few
stitches to the inside lining wouldn't hurt.

Vintage Black
Beret
This beautiful black felt beret is so simple, yet so elegant. A
double layer, oval applique is sewn to the front side of the hat.
This applique is outlined in red stitching with the focus on the
decorative goldtone design. The design is accented with white faux
pearls in both round and teardrop shapes. Tiny red and blue beads
further decorate the piece. The inside of the hat has a red
grosgrain band and a label which reads, "An Original by Dayire, New
York". Another label reads "22 (size). The hat is in very good
condition and has a slight military flair to it.

Vintage Blue Lace
Hat
This hat is a lovely complement to your vintage outfit! The hat is
a gray blue lace over a lighter blue lining. The hat is accented
with rhinestones dispursed throughout the hat. The hat does not have
a lable and does have some stitching visible from the inside. The
hat is in good condition and very wearable.

Vintage Beige "Velour"
Hat
This simple light beige hat will sit proudly on your head! It has a
braided trim accent which encircles the hat and is made from the same
material as the hat. A beige veil is attached to the hat in the
front and ties in the back. The center back of the hat is accented
with a small bow. Two pieces extend on each side to help hold the
hat in place. The inside of the hat is marked: "Genuine Velour
Imported Fur." The hat is in good condition, but a bit of the inside
grosgrain ribbon needs retacking and the veil needs a bit of steaming
(there is a break in the net toward the end of the tie). The velour
also has a few "bites" in it, but these do not detract from the hat's
wearability (see Detail View).

Vintage Goldtone Sequin
Beret
Lots of sparkle here! This lovely goldtone knitted beret is covered
with goldtone sequins. The entire hat is either knitted or crocheted
with a goldtone yarn. The yarn has metalic threads running through
it to add to the glitter! The entire hat is decorated with goldtone
sequins except for the banding around the edge. There are no labels
sewn into the hat, but there is an attached paper label which reads,
"Bloomingdale's". The hat is in very good condition.

Vintage "Betmar" Velvet
Hat
What a great hat! This lovely beret style hat is made by "Betmar"
and is created in a magenta colored velvet. The hat is soft and
pliable. It has a soft band which is accented with a material
covered button on the side. The hat is in very good condition and
very wearable. The inside features a wide grosgrain banding and the
"Betmar" label (see Detail Views).

Vintage White Fur
Hat
Just in time for those cold winter days! This white fur hat is sure
to keep your head warm and toasty. The fur looks and feels like
rabbit fur; but it may be a good quality faux fur. The hat is done
in a beret style with white leather trim. A leather band encircles
the hat and a leather bow (complete with leather button) accents the
back of the hat. The hat is lined in black with a grosgrain banding.
The hat is in very good condition; however the leather has a bit of
wear.

Vintage Brown/Gray/Orange Feather
Hat
What a great vintage hat! This hat is a combination of brown, gray
and
orange. It is made of felt and has a "tam" look to it. The hat
features a wonderful orange feather pom-pom at the side front and a
material bow on the opposite side. The hat has an elastic chin strap
(needs retacking on one side). The inside label reads,
"Individually Fashioned for Purcells". The hat is in very good
condtion and has a great look!
