Victorian Embossed/Hand
Painted Fan
Unfortunately, my photos do not do this fan justice. The fan has
ivory end sticks and center sticks (I believe they are ivory, but
they have not been tested). They are beautifully carved and
filigreed. A beautiful, muted embossed fabric has the look of
embroidery and blends from a bronze color to a green/gold to cream.
Hand painted flowers, birds and leafy scrolls decorate the material.
Truely a Victorian treasure. The back of the fan is plain cream
silk. The fan is in very good condition; however there is one stick
that is broken. It looks like it had been mended at one time, but
has come undone. You can see this stick in the Detail Views. There is also a few lighter
colored spots on the bronze material on one side and a bit of fraying
at the top edge of the fan. The fan measures approximately 11 1/2"
tall and 20" wide when opened to it's widest width.

are a few small breaks in the lace. This is truely an heirloom you'll

Vintage Oriental Peacock Feather
Fan
This vintage fan is just beautiful. It is so colorful and a great
combination - peacock feathers and an Oriental motif. The fan is
comprised of carved wooden stays with peacock feathers. The lower
portion of the peacock feathers are white with green, gold and blue
"eyes". A beautiful, hand painted Oriental design is painted on one
side of the fan. It features an Oriental man and lady in the center
with yellow, lavendar and rose floral design on each side of the
center. The back of the fan also has a smaller hand painted floral
design. A small red and yellow tassel falls from the bottom of the
fan. A small bead is attached to each section of the tassel. The fan
is in very good condtion and measures approximately 13" tall and 21"
wide when opened to its fullest.

Vintage Military Style
Hatpin Army
This military style vintage hatpin has an antiqued goldtone top
featuring
the military insignia, similar if not if fact, an early US Army
emblem of an eagle. The top measures approximately 1" in diameter.
The back of the top piece reads, "M. C. Lilley & Co., Columbus, O."
This company made miltary clothing and buttons dating back to the mid-
1800's. The markings on the back of this button was used by M. C.
Lilley company from 1865-1882. The overall length of the hat pin
(including top) measures almost 6" long. The pin does have some
discoloration and a very slight bend in it. The hatpin top could use
some cleaning, but I did not want to remove the patina, so I will
leave that to the new owner.
