Grey Vintage Mouton
Wrap
Here is the perfect vintage wrap for the holiday season or for any
season!
The stole is a plush grey mouton with small front pockets and a
single front clasp. The stole is beautifully lined with mauve satin
sprinkled with a floral design. There are no labels in the stole,
but the lining alone tells us it was well made. The stole is ready
to dress up any evening wear in your wardrobe!

Early 1800's Pink Silk
Cape
This antique cape is wonderful - it is a pale pink silk and
completely hand
sewn! I'm sure this cape was used only for special occassions and it
may have complimented a special gown. The cape has an attached hood
which is very wide and gathered only around the outer edge. It is
trimmed with pinked scalloped edges. The cape ties at the neckline
with two material ties (one tie is not complete, but can still be
tied). The edges of the ties have also been pinked. Both sides of
the center front opening and the entire hemline is trimmed with box
pleating which has been pinked with scallops edges. The pink
material has a horizontal striped design with very narrow pink strips
going through the material. In addition to the stripes in the
material, decorative hand stitching has been done on the diagonal. I
belive the cape was lightly quilted at one time because if you hold
it to the light you can still see some remains of a filler material.
The cape is completely lined with a soft light brown material - it
almost feels like flannel. The cape is approximately knee length and
very full. It is in good condition, but does have some light
staining and a few small holes. There is some damage where the hood
attaches to this vintage cape. It looks like it was originally
piped on that
seam and the outer edge of the piping has split. There are a few
other minor tears, but nothing major. It is amazing that the cape
has remained in such good condition. I would not suggest wearing the
cape. It would be best to add it to a collection or displayed it.
The cape measures approximately
39" from neckline to hemline.

Circa 1960's Black Brocade Opera
Coat
This vintage coat is so elegant - photos do not do it justice! The
coat is
floor length with bracelet sleeves and a round collar. The front is
double breasted with eight huge rhinestone buttons! Each button is
domed - outstanding! The coat is cut very straight and has two side
pockets. The coat is entirely lined in black. Measurements:
bodice=36"; waistline=36"; hips=38-40"; length (shoulder seam to
hemline)=56". The condition of the coat is excellent and the buttons
are just incredible!

Vintage Lamb Cape
This pretty vintage black curly lamb cape is hip length and in very
good
condition. The cape has slit arm openings and black satin lining.
Fits to size 18. Circa 1940's.

Vintage Black Velvet/Fur Collar
Coat
This is a wonderful vintage velvet coat - perfect with any formal
attire! I believe the coat dates to the 1930's/1940's and is floor
length and fully lined. The coat has a center front opening with a
button closure - one large velvet button at the neckline and another
(which is missing) just above the waistline. The button holes are
velvet loops. The coat has a wonderful off-white fur collar. I do
not know what kind of fur it is, but looks like rabbit. The sleeves
are long and fairly straight. The coat has an inside tie and is
lined in cream. The coat has a very slender silhouette and is very
glamorous. There is a problem with the coat. It has an area where I
think the button was originally attached, that is torn and discolored
(see close-up photo). The waistline button, buttons to the side, so
I don't think this would show when the coat was worn, but it is
there. I'm sure a clever seamstress could repair the coat and it
would be well worth the repairs as it is lovely. The collar also
needs some minor repair. The seam around the edge of the back
portion of the collar has come undone and needs to be restitched.
The coat measures approximately: bustline=36"; waistline=28";
hips=38"; shoulder to shoulder width=15"; length (shoulder to
hemline)=56". Again, the coat does need repair and is priced as such.

Circa 1870's Black
Jacket
This antique bodice is cut in a boxy jacket style. The bodice is
all black
with a brown polished cotton lining. There is no boning. This
vintage jacket
has a rounded neckline and front button closure. There are three
crochet buttons still attached and a forth (does not match) which has
been sewn on the button hole. The bottom edge of the jacket has a
small black trim with fringe - much of the fringe is disintigrating.
The sleeves are cut on a curve with the top and bottom seam. They
are also decorated with the black trim and the fringe is still
attached. There are a few small moth holes in the jacket, but no
shattering. Measurements: bustline=38"; waistline=42".

Short Beaded
Vintage Jacket
This wonderful vintage piece is a cross between a cape and a short
jacket.
It has short sleeves and is decorated with beading and beaded
tassels. The beading is in good condition, but because of the
fragile nature of this item, some of the beads and tassels are
missing. Still a wonderful piece of workmanship!
