LARGER SIZE!!! 1950's Vintage
Gold
Brocade Coat
This vintage coat is beautiful. Unfortunately, I have not been able
to
capture the beauty of the fabric. The material is a goldtone brocade
with an all-over floral design. The colors in the design are soft
peaches, blues, lavendars and yellows. Please see the close-up of
the material. The coat is very full with a large shawl collar. The
sleeves are 3/4 length and wide. The coat has a center front opening
with no closures. It is fully lined in a goldtone material. Side
seam pockets are deep and lined in the same fabric as the coat.
There are no labels to the coat, but it is obviously well made. The
coat will fit comfortably up to a 38" bustline. The coat is in very
good condition, with only one very small hole which is not noticeable
unless you really look for it, because of the goldtone lining. This
coat would be at home for any formal occassion.

Vintage 1940's Butterscotch
Jacket
What a wonderful little vintage coat - and the condition is
excellent! This
1940's jacket has a wide, pointed collar and neck button closure.
The button is great - it has a goldtone stone in the center! The
jacket is hip length and has a nice flare. Typical of the 1940's,
the jacket has padded shoulders. The sleeves are long with turned up
cuffs. Two side pockets complete the jacket. The jacket is fully
lined and has a neck label, which reads, "Made in California." The
jacket is in very good condition and very wearable. The color is
still true and even. The jacket measures: bustline=36"; shoulder to
shoulder width=15" and length=28".

LARGER SIZE!! 1960's Vintage
Black
Satin-Look Rain Coat
What a great vintage rain coat! The coat is very lightweight and
has the
look of satin. It is black and the material has a raised basket
weave pattern. Unfortunately, my photos and dress form do not show
the beauty of this coat. The coat has a shirt collar and four button
front closure. The buttons are covered with the same material and
are large (1" diameter). Two flap pockets decorate the front. One
pocket is normal size and the other is very, very deep -
approximately 12" deep! The sleeves are long and straight. The coat
is lined has a label which reads, "Rain-Paka Traveler, Pat. No.
3085254". The patent number dates the coat to the early 1960's.
There is also a small "Union Made" tag at the side seam. The coat is
in very good condition - no tears, holes or fading. It is sturdy and
very wearable. The hem has an area which needs restitching, but that
is all. The coat is cut fairly straight and is meant to be worn
loose. There is no size label, but measures: bustline=44";
waistline=46"; hips=49"; length (shoulder seam to hemline)=43".

VERY LARGE SIZE! Black/Gold
Newer Vintage Leather Coat
This coat is of newer vintage, but a definate fashion statement!
The coat is done in black suede leather with the collar and lapels
done in gold lame with gold dot accents. The coat has padded
shoulders and is cut straight. It has long lapels with a low two
button closure. The buttons are bright goldtone. The coat has a low
waistline and is a longer length (mid-calf). Two front pockets are
incorporated into the dropped waistline seam. The coat is fully
lined and has a long center back kick pleat. The collar and lapels
really give this coat a boost. The material is similar to a gold
lame and it is covered with small gold dot - similar to sequins. A
few of these dots are missing, but because of the number, they are
not really missed. The inside neck label reads, "Atlantic Beach
Leather Coat Works". A side label reads, "Shell: 100% Genuine
Leather; Lining: 50% Nylon and 50% Acetate". There is no size
lable, but measurements are as follows: bustline=54"; waistline=54";
length (center back collar to hemline)=53". The coat is meant to be
worn loose. It is displayed on a dress form with a 38" bustline.

Vintage Taffeta Jacket
This is a great all around jacket! The vintage jacket is
approximately hip
length. It has a center front button closure and a wonderful wide
collar. The collar is nicely detailed with decorative black accents.
Unfortunately, my photos do not capture the detail (please see Detail
Views). The front collar is cut in a lapel style. The jacket has
three wonderful center front closure buttons. They are black with a
tan scrolling design. The jacket has four horizontal tabs - two in
the front and two in the back. These tabs give the jacket a fitted
look through the waistline. Each tab is accented with decorative
accents which match the collar. The sleeves are long and the lower
portion of the sleeve is also decorated with accent trim. The jacket
is fully lined in cream with a small inside pocket. There are no
labels. The jacket is in very good condition and is very wearable.
It measures approximately: bustline=40"; waistline=38"; shoulder to
shoulder width=15"; length=23 1/2".

Circa 1870-1880's Woven
Shawl
Lovely antique woven shawl dating to the mid 1800's. The shawl is
square in
shape and accented with fringe on all four sides. The colors are a
rich goldtone, brown and a tad of rust. The pattern is a striped
background decorated with patterned circles. It is a very interesting
design. This vintage shawl has seen better days and there are some
holes
scattered throughout. Some of the fringe has worn away, but it is
still a great display piece. The shawl measures approximately 64"
square. The shawl belonged to, Dosha Smith Crawford, who lived in
Oklahoma. Dosha was a "Sooner" in the Cimarron Run.

Elegant Victorian Opera
Cape
This lovely white and pink silk and organza opera cape is so sweet
and dainty! The vintage cape has long panels that fall to just
below the
knees. The cape is created by combining heavy
orgnady and pink ribbons which are sewn together by hand. White
silk sheer organdy ruffles adorn the neckline and each ruffled
organdy silk panel. The front opening of the cape, including the
long panels, have a hook/eye closure. Pretty black outlining is what
truly makes this cape stand out. The black outlining accents the
alternating strips of material used to creat the cape. The cape is
lined with white silk and there is even a little pocket on the
underside of the front left panel. The cape is entirely hand stitched
and dates to approximately the 1890's. This era was the filly frou-
frou period where extra fancy capes and caplets were proudly worn.
The silk sheer organdy is very delicate - the cape could be worn with
great care. The heavier organdy and pink fabric has pale, pale soft
yellowing dots and some of these same dots are on the silk organdy. I
would not wash this due to the delicate silk fabric that may break
apart if water were to hit it. There are some holes in the silk
organdy and along the bottom of the ruched panels and along the
ruffles. This fabric is very delicate and this piece would be best
used as a display item over a ballgown or dinner dress. I've never
seen a pink and white opera cape such as this. It is in good
condition with the exception of the sheer fabric's age and the pale
dots. The yellowed spots almost looks like they are supposed to be a
pattern, but they are just age spots. The total length of the cape
is 36" long and the back measures approximately 14" long. The cape
would fit a small to medium shoulder size.

LARGER SIZE!!! Vintage
Paisley Sequin
Jacket
This colorful vintage jacket is sure to spruce up your holiday
wardrobe!
The background of the jacket is done in goldtones, ranging from
yellow to tangerine. A paisley design done in red, green, blue and
gold glittering threads, are scattered throughout the jacket. Clear,
iridescent sequins are sewn all over the jacket. These sequins add
lots of sparkle! The jacket has a rounded neckline and front opening.
All of the edges of the jacket are accented with a thin gold trim.
The sleeves are long and fitted. The jacket has a goldtone lining
and padded shoulders. The neck label reads, "Farinae Collections".
There is also a size 8 label. The jacket is in very good condition,
but is missing some sequins (does not detract, as they are clear).
There are also a few threads which are pulled, but again because of
the array of colors, this is not detracting. The jacket is displayed
on a dress form with a 36" bustline.
