Victorian Child's Dress

This lovely vintage white cotton lawn dress is lavishly accented with lace and is the perfect dress for the little Victorian lady in your life. The dress has a slightly raised collar edged in lace. The yoke of the dress is a combination of white lace surrounding a lovely machine embroidered pattern. Vertical strips of pastel pink ribbon is sandwiched between two vertical strips of lace, beginning on each shoulder and continuing through the front and back to the waistline. The high waistline is also accented with pale pink ribbon which ties in the back, allowing for some adjustment. Several tiny vertical pin pleats begin under the yoke of the bodice and continue to the waistline. The sleeves of the dress are full and accented with a horizontal band of lace. The lower edge of the sleeves is also done in lace with pastel pink ribbon adding the final touch. The skirt is slightly gathered into the high waistline and falls ankle to floor length. The skirt is decorated with several horizontal rows of lace. The lower portion of the dress is a slightly heavier cotton accented with tiny openwork flowers and a scrolling design. The dress has a center back button closure. The buttons are hidden behind a material placket. The dress is in wonderful condition and I believe it may have been reworked. The dress has not lost any of it's early 1900 charm and is in very wearable condition. It would also make a beautiful display piece! The dress measures approximately: bustline=22"; shoulder to shoulder measurement=10"; high waistline measurement=23"; bodice length (center back neckline to empire waistline)=7"; skirt length=17 1/2"; overall length=25". The dress is in very good condition.

Vintage Child's Lawn Dress

This vintage child's white lawn dress is so sweet. The dress has a rounded neckline and beautiful whitework/embroidery across the upper portion of the bodice. A center back button closure begins at the neckline and continues through the waistline. The long sleeves have a slight curve and are made in the coat sleeve style - top and bottom seam. The dress has a fitted waistline with a wide set-in waistband. The skirt is nicely gathered into the waistband and it also features whitework and embroidery. Horizontal rows of embroidery decorate the skirt with a wide, heavily decorated horizontal band encircling the lower protion of the skirt. There is a wide hem, so the dress could be lengthened. The dress is in very good condition, but does have a few small scattered holes. These would not be noticeable when worn over a slip. The dress measures: chest=26"; shoulder to shoulder width=11 1/2"; waistline=21"; bodice length=13 1/2"; skirt length=29" and overall length (shoulders to hemline)=43".

Vintage Tan Straw Child's Hat

This vintage hat is tan straw. The straw is woven in a circular design which has a ribbed look. The back of the hat has a straw trim which does have some damage on one side. The entire hat is lined with a taupe colored lining inside the brim and on the inside of the back. The lining on the outer edge of the brim is wired. This wire continues around the outer edge of the hat. Cream colored cotton lines the upper portion of the hat and a purple colored paper and net lines the crown. There is evidence of the original ties which are very thin, dark brown ribbon. The ties have been replaced and the side flowers added. There is some wear to the lining and the hat in general, but still in very good condition.

1870's Vintage Velvet Baby Bonnet

Perfect for any doll as an added finishing touch. This vintage bonnet came from an estate of a lady in her late 80's. She said that the bonnet came from her grandmother's trunk and she believes that it might have been her grandfather's. The top of the bonnet is constructed of a deep rich burgandy velvet and the underside is lined with brushed cotton and a silk ruffle. Simple muslin ties adorn the bonnet with lace sewn at the bottom. There are small brown stains on each lace piece, but this should clean up. The top of the bonnet is a small half helmet shape and it has the look of what a little baby boy would have worn at that time. The little silk ruffle is hand stitched to the underside of the bonnet along with the brushed cotton lining. This piece is darling and there are NO rips or tears or staining on the velvet. Very good condition, except for the staining at the bottom of the ties. This would look wonderful on an older doll. Bonnet is for a newborn up to 3 monthes. Very good condition.

1911-13 Vintage Girls Lace Net and Silk Dress

This young ladies' vintage dress is spectacular in it's styling. It was worn as a graduation gown. The gown is all constructed out of lace net and there are little squares woven into the fabric. The garnitures are out of soft aqua blue silk. Graduation gowns were very formal and many young ladies wanted the most beautiful dress made for their special day and this dress is of great beauty and design. The bodice is all gathered in the front and attached to a gathered waistline. There is a soft blue silk cumberbund that is threaded through the open apron panel. There is also blue silk trimming that measures 1/2" wide along the front apron panel and up the side draped bertha. Underbodice has double layer of lace and is puffed in its appearance. There are lovely short sleeves that are tucked and give it an appearance of a double sleeve. These are both trimmed with blue silk and have lovely tucked and rolled rosettes. The skirt is triple tiered with the top peplum trimmed with 3/4" blue silk on the front panel and 2" wide silk trim that travels all around the first tiered panel. Second tier has 5 1/2" wide blue silk trim. There is a lovely draped large blue silk rosette that hangs from the middle back of the gown. Lower bottom of skirt is A-line in it's look and ends with a lacey ruffle. This little dress is very detailed and stylish! Measurements: bustline=24", waistline=22"; length (bodice to hemline)=48". Underslip is built into garment and is constructed out of heavy net tulle. This gown does have some very tiny breaks in the netting that can be repaired very easily and are not noticeable. Very good condition.

Vintage Boys Winter Hat

Remember this style hat? I think most boys has a hat similar while growing up! The vintage hat is a combination of brown leather(?), faux fur and corduroy. The hat is a cap style with a front brim. A small skiing medalion accents the center front. The faux fur sides fold down to cover the ears. The inside of the hat has a quilted corduroy lining. A small label reads, "Medium."
