Dresser Doll
The beautiful dresser doll is a wonderful accessory to hold pins,
powder, hair clips or other small objects. The dresser doll is
divided into two pieces. The doll portion is the cover and the lower
skirt is the holder. The dresser doll is in the shape of a young
woman of the 1700’s/1800's. She is wearing a full hoop gown. The
gown is done in shades of pink and light green with a turquoise
bodice and green bonnet. There are five hand painted roses on the
front. The figure stands approximately 6” high and is 4” in diameter
at the base of the gown. The base is stamped "JAPAN" in red letters.
The glaze has a couple of pinhead sizes dimples but is otherwise in
very good condition.

Belber Silk Cord
Hangers
A great box of traveling cords for steamer trunk hangers. The box is
in fairly good shape and shows a woman unpacking her trunk. The
inside of the lid reads as follows: "INSTRUCTIONS: Remove the
clothing hangers from the Wardrobe Trunk and attach the loops of the
cord hanger on each end as shown in the illustration. The garment can
then be hung on any nail or hook in the closet of hotel or home and
this obviates the necessity of handling extra hangers or other
cumbersome fixtures. This is an exclusive feature of Belber Traveling
Goods." The five travel hangers consist of a large chrome plated ring
attached to two green braided silk cords with large loops at each
end. The rings are stamped "Belber Make, Phila." on one side and
"Pat. Apl'd For -0-" on the other. The condition of the box and
hangers are very good, except for some rust on the rings.

Perpetual Calendar Cigarette
Case
Vintage black enamel over a pressed steel case measuring 3" by 5"
closed and 6" open. The hinge is spring loaded, as is the flange that
holds the cigarettes in place. The flange is marked "UP TO DATE"/DE-
PAT.93535/Other Pat.'s Pend. Made in U.S.A." The case has rounded
corners and the front of the case has a perpetual calendar in chrome
over the black enamel. The left side has a sliding strip is for the
days of the week. The center has 31 days etched in chrome and the
right side has a sliding strip for the month. So, at the beginning of
the month you would slide the days of the week (from the inside) to
coincide with the numbers and change the month. The case shows minor
wear in the form of light scratches on the chrome strips on the front
and some on the enamel on the back. Over-all condition is very good.

Victorian Bead & Lace
Collar
This collar is beautiful. Unfortunately, my photos cannot capture
the true beauty and delicate color of the beading. I have used
several photos, so please be sure to see the close-up views of the
beading. The collar is black; however, my photos have been lightened
to show detail, so the collar may look faded or discolored - this is
the photo only. The collar is large and has a combination
square/triangular look to it. The neckline is rounded and edged with
beading. A ecru colored lace band encircles the neckline and this
band is decorated with small pastel colored flowers. Two additional
bands of lace accent the collar. These bands form a "V" in the front
and back. The black material between the bands of lace is also
heavily decorated with small colored sequins and metal pieces
(similar to an upside down flower). The lower edge of the collar is
edged with wide black lace. A zigzag row of beading accents the seam
where the lace begins, as well as the front closure and neckline.
The lace is edged with gold colored trim and accented with the flower
beads and sequins. The inside of the color is lined with brown
polished cotton. The collar is in good condition, but there are some
missing beads. It is wearable with care (due to beading) and would
be a wonderful addition to a collection. This piece came from a
weathy Pennsylvania estate.

Lady's
Adornment(?)
I must admit, I'm a bit perplexed by this item. It begins with a
black velvet strap with a hook/eye closure - similar to a strap which
would hook around the neck; however it only measures 13" long. Next
comes an oval shaped black velvet piece which has a bit of poof to it
(it feels like it has been stuffed). A lovely black bow and black
beaded accent with tassels is attached to the center of the bow. The
bottom section is another oval shaped piece, which is a bit larger
than the first; however this one is not stuffed at all. Both ovals
are decorated with a colorful trim of green, peach and orange. The
reverse side of this adornment is a lovely light celery green brocade
material. This side also has a black decorative piece where the two
pieces meet. It reminds me of a decorative piece to the back of a
bustle. it is in good condition and surely a conversation piece!
The overall measurement of the piece is 15" long and 13" wide.

Circa 1900's White/Blue
Apron
What a great little apron! This apron is part of a Deleware estate.
It is done in white and blue. The apron is of the shorter variety
and has two large front pockets. The apron was made by folding the
bottom portion of the material up toward the waistline to create the
pockets. Blue stiching accents both sides of the apron as well as
the top and middle portions of the pocket. Three blue ribbon bows
further decorate the pockets - one on each side and one in the
middle. A light blue ribbon is encased in the waistline of the
apron. The apron measures 17" long and 21" wide. The blue waistline
ribbon measures 52" long. There is some slight staining on the upper
portion of the apron, but I believe it would come out with cleaning.
