Vintage 1960's Jumpsuit/Vest

Please Note: The jumpsuit looks a bit funny through the hips. This is because the dress form does not have legs so the jumpsuit is not displayed accurately. This vintage jumpsuit comes with a coordinating long vest, which creates a beautiful ensemble. The jumpsuit is yellow wool. It has a rolled collar and long, straight sleeves. The jumpsuit is cut straight, with a minimally defined waistline. The jumpsuit has a center back zipper closure (the handle on the zipper is missing). The legs are very wide, giving the appearance of a formal gown. The coordinating vest is done in yellow, green, cream and tan. The vest has a stylized floral pattern. It is sleeveless and has a center front opening. Two fabric covered buttons with braided "frogs" act as a closure to the vest. Both the vest and the jumpsuit are fully lined and in very good condition. The jumpsuit measures approximately: bustline=34"; shoulder to shoulder width=14"; waistline=28" and length (shoulder to hemline)=54".

Italian Vintage Sweater Dress

This 100% wool vintage sweater dress is so chic! The dress is a cream color knitted in a vertical zigzag designed. The dress has a rounded neckline and zipper up the back. The dress has long sleeves and is a longer length. The neck tag reads, "Alix International, Rome, Paris, Vienna, New York - 100% Wool, Made in Italy" Measurements: bustline=34"-36"; waistline=28"-30"; and hips=36". All measurements were taken without stretching the dress.

1960's/1970's Vintage Gray Suit

This vintage suit is a great flashback to the 60's/70's. The suit is gray accented with burnt orange. The jacket is a boxy style with a rounded collar which continues into a tie at the neckline. The collar and tie is gray on one side and burnt orange on the other. The only other decoration on the jacket is the 5" wide horizontal band which encircles the jacket. The band is top-stitched with burnt orange stitching - nice touch. Two pockets are incorporated into this band. The jacket has a center front opening, with no closures, except for the tie. The matching skirt is straight with a side button closure. The neck label in the jacket reads, "Couture Imports, 100% Wool - Made in Holand", "Size 12". The skirt also has a label, which reads, "Made in Holland, 100% Wool". Both the skirt and jacket are in very good condition and very wearable. Measurements: bustline=36; waistline=30"; hips=38"; skirt length=26".

Bob Mackie Cream/Gold Trim Dress

It's the holiday season and you're wearing a vintage dress designed by "Bob Mackie"! This ivory colored gown feels as great as it looks. Never worn, this dress is a true designer's classic that will forever remain in style. Ivory in color, with long sleeves accented at the cuffs with silver and gold beading. In addition to the beading, the cuffs close with zippers. The waist is slightly dropped with a wide band which is also trimmed with silver and gold beading. Two long sashes appear to cascade from the waistband of the dress. These are also covered with the silver and gold beading. This is a wonderful cocktail dress which is very well made and elegant to wear! The neck label reads, "Bob Mackie Evening" "Shell: 75% Triacetate; 25% Polyester, Made in China, Size 10."

Adele Simpson Green Suit

This green wool cocktail suit is extrordinary. Designer items from any vintage can only increase in value and this is one! The suit is a rich hunter green wool crepe with a front closure of silvertone rhinestone buttons. The sleeves are long and are also accented with three rhinestone buttons at each cuff. The suit is from the early 80's, but gets it's style and glamour from the 1940's. The jacket is fitted at the waist with padded shoulders (padded could be removed) and both the skirt and jacket are fully lined. The skirt is a wrap style, falling to just below the knee. The suit is in very good condition, except it is missing the rhinestone on two cuff buttons. The neck label reads, "Adele Simpson, New York, Made in Hong Kong, 100% Wool, Dry Clean". There is also a size label, which reads, "10". The suit fits nicely on a dress form which measures: bustline=36"; waistline=26"; skirt length=28".

Vintage Cream Beaded Blouse

This vintage blouse would be the perfect accent to a simple black skirt. The blouse has a rounded neckline and is accented with three rows of heavily beaded trim which follows the neckline. The beading is a combination of faux pearls, cream trim, sequins and rhinestones. There are also rhinestones with a rectangular bead beneith it, scattered throughout the front of the blouse. The blouse is sleeveless and has a center back metal zipper. The blouse is not lined and there is a neck label which reads, "Carol Brent". No size information. The blouse is in good condition and has not been cleaned; however there is a small spot on the front which does not look like a stain. Measurements: bustline=34"; hemline=40"; length (shoulder to waistline)=21".

Vintage 1960's Black/Red Suit

This black and red vintgae wool suit is typical of the 1960's. It has a boxy style jacket with a rounded neckline. It has a center front opening, with no closures. The sleeves are long and straight. The jacket is nicely decorated with a wide horizontal red stripe which begins and ends at the side seams. The jacket is fully lined. The matching skirt is straight with a side metal zipper and large button closure. The skirt is unlined. There are no tags in the jacket or skirt. Measurements: jacket bustline=36"; shoulder to shoulder=14"; skirt waistline=24"; length (waistline to hemline)=23 1/2". The suit is in very good condition and very wearable.

Vintage 1960/1970's Pink Lace Dress/Jacket

This vintage dress/jacket ensemble is of a newer vintage, but lovely just the same. It would be the perfect outfit to wear to a wedding! The dress has spagetti straps and the entire bodice has a cream lace overlay which comes to the natural waistline. The skirt is straight and solid pink. The dress has a side zipper closure. The matching jacket is fitted through the waistline and has a large lace overlay collar and a one button closure at the waistline. The sleeves are long and also decorated at the cuff with a lace overlay. The dress and jacket are fully lined. This ensemble was purchased from a wedding shop and was probably worn by the mother of the bride or groom. The label reads, "Weddings, Etc. - Jansen Burnham". There is no size tag, but measurements are: bustline=32"-33"; waistline=23". Very good condition.
