1940's/1950's Vintage Tan
Suit
This tan colored vintage suit is so classy! It is made of a tan
colored
"burlap" type material. The jacket has padded shoulders, a small
lapel collar and a four button front closure. The buttons are
covered with the same material as the suit and the jacket is fully
lined. The sleeves are straight and are approximately 3/4 length.
The jacket is fitted in the waistline and a diagnal faux pocket
accents each side of the bust area. The matching skirt is straight
with a side zipper and fitted waistband. The skirt has wide seams so
it could be taken out a bit. The seat portion of the skirt is lined.
A center back vent accents the back of the skirt. There is also a
wide hem on the skirt, so it could be lengthened. The attached
labels read, "Haggarty's, Los Angels - Pasadena - Beverly Hills" and
"Oscar - Beverly Hills". This vintage suit is in very good
condition and is
very wearable. It does have two very small spots, but they blend in
with the material (they may even be a coloration of the material) and
are not detracting. The suit measures: bustline=37"; waistline=27";
skirt length=27 1/2".

1940's Tan Vintage
Suit
If you're looking for a great vintage suit with the tailoring
typical of the 1940's, take a close look at this one. The suit is a
tan color with just a bit of a tweed look. The jacket features a
wide shawl collar. Each end of the collar is accented with a
vertical material band and two (2) fabric buttons. The jacket if
fitted and has a center front closure - with six (6) fabric covered
buttons. Two vertical faux pockets further accent the jacket. The
jacket is fully lined with padded shoulders and long, straight
sleeves. The matching skirt is unlined and has a side metal zipper
and button closure. The skirt has a slight a-line shape. The suit
does not have any labels or size information. Approximately
measurements are as follows: bustline=34"; waistline=26"; hips=34"
and skirt length=28 1/2". The suit is in very good condition and
very wearable; however it does have a very slight light pink
discoloration (visible in certain lights - price reflects). The
jacket is cut to emphasize the shoulders and
minimize the waistline.

LARGER SIZE!!!
Sophisticated 1950's Style Dress
This green print vintage dress is the classic styling of a 1950's
dress -
when ladies "dressed" for dinner. The dress is done in an olive
green, dark green and black print. The "V" neckline is cut fairly
low and is accented with a beautiful green and antique goldtone pin.
The pin and the print of the fabric combine to give this dress a
baroque look. Very dramatic, yet sophisticated. The sleeves are
elbow length and there is a slight gathering from the shoulders to
the bust creating a soft, draping effect. The bodice ends at the
natural waistline and a few pleats add a bit of extra room to the
hips. The dress has a center back metal zipper and is lined. The
center back of the dress has a kick pleat. The dress measures
approximately: bustline=42"; shoulder to shoulder width=16";
waistline=31"; hips=41" and length (shoulder to hemline)=44". The
neck label reads, "REK Originals, For the Girl Who Knows Clothes."
This dress is perfect for the full figured gal - just a hint of sexy,
but in quite good taste! Perfect for any cocktail party or dinner
and the theater.

1950's Vintage Suit W/Matching
Coat
This matching three (3) piece vintage suit has a great look! The
three
pieces consist of a suit and matching coat. The suit is very
tailored and features a center front three-button closure and paddes
shoulders. The jacket is fully lined. There is some damage to the
lining, otherwise, the jacket is in very good condition. The
matching skirt is a-lined with a side metal zipper closure. The
skirt is not lined. The matching coat has four (4) large buttons
for the front
closure. The sleeves are long with cuffed sleeves. Two large patch
pockets decorate the front of the coat. The coat is loose fitting
and 3/4 length and does not cover the entire suit. The coat is also
lined, but the lining has damage at the shoulders. The lining damage
to
both the coat and jacket does not detract from the suit. The suit is
very wearable. The suit jacket measures approximately: bustline=34"
and jacket length=25" long. The skirt measures approximately:
waistline=29" and skirt length=29". The coat measures approximately
38" long (shoulder to hemline).

1950's Green Spring
Vintage Dress
This pretty 1950's green vintage dress has the look of Spring! The
dress
has a squared off "V" neckline which is edged with a small lace
ruffle. The bodice is fitted and has a center front button closure.
The closure continues into the skirt where the closure changes to
snaps. The buttons on the bodice have a pearl look to them. The
dress has simple, short sleeves. Narrow lace strips accent each side
of the center front closure. The bodice is decorated with very
narrow horizontal pleats. This pleating begins at the center of the
bodice and gradually widens as it approaches the shoulders and
continues through the back of the bodice. The waistline is fitted
and a material belt encircles the waistline (there is a bit of
spotting on the belt buckle, which will probably come out with
cleaning). The skirt is full and small pleats gather the skirt to
the waistline. There is no size information in the dress, but thee
is a label in the shoulder seam which reads, "Tailored Junior -S-".
The dress measures approximately: bustline=35"; shoulder to shoulder
width=14 12"; waistline=26"; bodice length (center back neckline to
waistline)=16"; skirt length (waistline to hemline=27 1/2" and total
length (shoulder seam to hemline)=43". The dress is in very good
condition and very wearable. I don't believe it was ever worn as it
looks new.

Lambswool and angora are combined to make this a cuddly vintage
sweater!
The sweater is lined with a silk lining. White beading decorates the
neckline and on both the front and the back to create a very soft
color contrast. The sweater has a hook/eye closure center front.
The sweater is in very good condition, but does have 2 very small
light stains (has not been cleaned).

Vintage 1950's Light Blue
Dress
This great vintage 1950's light blue dress has never been worn! It is
new/old stock and was purchased from a store that went out of
business many years ago. The dress is a light blue - my photos may
look white, but the dress is actually a pastel blue. The dress has a
small "V" neckline and a "peter pan" style collar. The dress has a
center front button closure to the waistline, then snaps through
about 6" of the skirt. Three-quarter length sleeves have a cuff with
button closure. The bodice of the dress is decorated with a floral
design. The design begins at the shoulders and squares off over the
bustline. A matching design decorates the center back of the dress
bodice. The bodice is fitted, as is the waistline. A material belt
encircles the waistline. The skirt is full and has a side pocket
sewn into the side seam. Small pleats gather the skirt into the
waistline. There is no size information in the dress, but the neck
label reads, "Fashioned by Abby-Kent Reg., Fabric by J.P. Stevens &
Co., Inc." The dress measures approximately: bustline=36"; shoulder
to shoulder width=14 1/2"; waistline=27"; bodice length (center back
neckline to waistline)=16"; skirt length (waistline to hemline)=27";
overall length (shoulder to hemline)=42". The dress is in very good
condition and very wearable.
