Vintage Wrap Dress/Jacket
This vintage dress would make an excellent outfit to wear to the
office! I
am dating it to the 1930's-1940's, but it could well be earlier. The
dress and jacket are made of a dark brown textured material. The
dress is long sleeved and is a wrap around! The neckline crosses
where it snaps at the waistline. The entire waistline of the dress
is a "snap" wrap around for the skirt. A vertically pleated over
panel attaches to the shoulders and falls to the waistline where it
has a material tie which ties in the back of the dress. A small
peplum extends from this panel below the waistline. The neckline of
the over panel has a rounded neckline with a double snap center front
closure. The jacket is cut in a simple "box" style. Three quarter
length sleeves and center front opening. Both pieces are in very
good condition and very wearable! I do not see any holes, tears or
stains. Because of the snaps there is some adjustability in size.
Measurements: bustline=38-39"; waistline=30"; length (shoulder to
hemline)=48".

Vintage Black Silk
Blouse
Very pretty vintage black silk blouse. Vintage unknown, but I would
guess
early 1900's. The blouse buttons up the front with very pretty
crocheted buttons (one button has some damage). The blouse is long
sleeved with turned up cuffs which have 3 matching buttons (one cuff
is missing 2 buttons). The front of the blouse is done with small
vertical pin pleats. The back is plain. The waistline of the blouse
is gathered with elastic (this may have been added at a later date).
Blouse measures: bustline=34" and waistline=23" (may be stretched
larger).

Vintage Slip-On
Blouse
This vintage slip-on blouse is an off-white to cream color. The
blouse has a rounded neckline, edged with a tiny scalloped edge lace
trim. The trim continues across each shoulder, outlining the four
button shoulder closures. Pin pleats further decorate the blouse.
They begin in the front just below a solid material yoke. The
continue in a "V" pattern across the front, just above the bustline.
The pin pleats continue the full length of the blouse in the back.
The blouse has long sleeves with a three button closure on each
sleeve. The blouse is very loose fitting with a free waistline. The
blouse is in very good wearable condition, but does have a few small
pin holes. The blouse is made of a light weight crepe and measures
approximately: bustline=32"; shoulder to shoulder width=13" and
length (center back neckline to hemline)=14 1/2".

Vintage 1940's Sequin Peacock
Gown
This beautiful 1940's vintage gown is sure to make a statement for
any occasion! The gown is black crepe with a rounded neckline and
draped sleeves which cover just the very top of the upper arms. The
bodice is very fitted and has a keyhole cutout in the back with a
hook/eye closure at the neckline. The gown also has a side zipper
closure - assuring a very fitted look! A show stopping sequin
peacock is sure to draw every eye in the room. It begins on the left
shoulder and scrolls across the bustline, ending just above the
waist. The peacock is done in red, green, gold, black, browns and
silver sequins. The scrolling of the tail is just wonderful (see Detail Peacock Views). The gown has a
fitted waistline. The skirt is a bit unusual in design and
unfortunately, my photos do not really capture it. The skirt begins
as a straight skirt, then "poofs" a bit on each side - just about hip
level. The "poofs" drape a bit, then the skirt becomes straight
again. The skirt has vertical openings on both the left and right
front sides to aid in walking and a bit of flirting! The gown is in
very good condition and ready to wear. It is approximately a size 8
and is displayed on a model with the following measurements:
bustline=36; waistline=30 and hips 36". This gown would be perfect
for the holidays or any other special occasion.

Vintage 1940's Adel Simpson
Suit Size 6
This vintage 1940's Adel Simpson suit is great! It is a wonderful
small white, black and red plaid. The jacket is double breasted with
a one button closure. There is also an inside button and a small
snap to help hold the jacket in place. The front of the jacket has
four (4) material covered buttons and slit pockets on each side. The
jacket has padded shoulders and long, straight sleeves. The sleeves
also have four small material buttons at the wrist end. The skirt is
straight with a set-in waistband and side zipper closure (the zipper
is broken and would need to be replaced). Both the jacket and the
skirt are fully lined. The suit is in very good condition, but does
have a few small "moth bites" in the jacket. I have taken a close-up
of the "moth bites" and they may be viewed on Detail Views. The jacket has a neck label
which reads, "Adele Simpson" in script. There are also three small
tags on the side seam of the jacket - a Union label, "Dry Clean Only"
and "6". The jacket measures approximately: bustline=34";
waistline=26" and length=24". The skirt measures approximately:
waistline=26" and length=25". This vintage designer suit is wearable
and would make a great addition to your vintage wardrobe!

Vintage Ecru
Blouse
This vintage blouse is nicely decorated with openwork and
embroidery. The blouse has a fold-down collar which is done almost
entirely with openwork. The blouse has a center front button closure
and long sleeves. The buttons are oval faux pearl buttons. The main
portion of the sleeves is a different material than the front and
back of the blouse; however the lower edge of the sleeves do match
the material of the blouse and are accented with openwork. The front
of the blouse does have some faint spotting. I do not know if this
will come out with cleaning. The blouse is a light ecru color with
the embroidery done in a darker ecru color (See Detail Views). The blouse would work well
if worn with a suit or jacket. The blouse measures approximately:
bustline=34" and shoulder to shoulder measurement=14". Again, the
blouse does have some damage - price reflects.

This vintage suit is so classic! The suit is a combination of gray

There are 10 (ten) small gray pearlized buttons accenting the front
of the jacket. The jacket has four faux pockets - two over the bust
and two in the lower portion of the jacket. The shoulders are
padded, giving the jacket a tailored look. The sleeves are long and
